In Pennsylvania, property owners have the opportunity to appeal their assessment every year. The assessed value of your home is what your property taxes (ei. school tax, county tax, & local taxes) are based on.
Figuring out your homes proper assessed value is as simple as taking your homes appraised value times the current CLR(Common Level Ratio).
As an example; $350,000 (appraised value of your home) X .56 (CLR) = $196,000 (assessed value).
